You get 3 sliders with a side of hash browns.  Each Slider is filled with scrambled eggs and American cheese. We top one slider with bacon, one with sausage and one with ham. No substitutions, please.

Black Bean, Spinach & Cheddar Quesadilla w/ Sweet Potato Fries
Our tender flour tortilla is slightly grilled and filled with lovely yummy black beans, gooey cheddar cheese and savory spinach. 

Hangover Omelette

We take our farm fresh eggs and blend them w/ green chilies, diced ham and pepper jack cheese. Served with hash browns & toast.

Our tall stack (3) of savory pancakes are delicious.  They are full of pumpkin delight!  On the side we are serving up a sweetened cream cheese schmeer and syrup.
Grits w/ Cheddar Cheese & Butter on the Side – We are topping our grits with Cheddar Cheese and serving butter on the side. 

Traditional Eggs Benedict with Seasoned Red Potatoes 

Enjoy 2 poached eggs on an English muffin stacked w/ sliced, sweet, smokey Canadian bacon.  We then top this culinary structure of love with creamy, buttery, Hollandaise sauce.  On the side you get our delicious seasoned red potatoes.

About Us

The 5th Avenue Café is a neighborhood landmark near The Willo Historic Home Community in Metro Phoenix. Opened in the early 1950’s, the restaurant operated originally as Upton’s, a well-known dining spot for Phoenix residents, politicians and celebrities. Local restaurateur Dee Bung purchased the business in 1964. Over the next several decades residents grew to love the new owner and her signature establishment, known as Dee’s. After many successful years, Dee retired and new owners renamed the restaurant the 5th Avenue Café.  

In May 2007, the seventh Owner revitalized the interior of the 5th Avenue Café while maintaining the friendly neighborhood atmosphere of its early beginnings. Today’s menu items remain consistent with the unique favorites established by the previous owners, including the Cowboy Breakfast, the 5th Avenue Rancheros, Corned Beef Hash, Steak and Eggs, Biscuits and Gravy and Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. Moreover, new favorites have been added, such as the “Lighter Side” menu, signature salads, sandwiches, and pasta dishes.

The 5th Avenue Café is open seven days a week,  7 am to 2 pm. We offer weekday luncheon specials, including 5th Avenue Chicken Noodle Soup and homemade chili. Breakfast is served all day, every day of the week. 

In addition  to daily dining, we can host your special event here at the jazz-themed café’, or you can enjoy our full range of food services delivered to the location of your choice. The 5th Avenue Café is the “first name” in catering for private and business-related events in the Phoenix Metro Area.
