Loving what you doANA ALVARADO
Our ChefI’ve been working in the restaurant industry for over seven years, doing everything from kitchen prep to serving tables and bartending.
Over time, I discovered my true passion was cooking and creating, which led me to become a chef, specializing in the culinary arts. But I never gave up customer service; connecting with guests is something I truly love.
Listening to our customers and seeing them enjoy every bite is incredibly rewarding. Creating a space filled with honesty, safety, and harmony for our diners reflects the values we live by.
My cooking style is original, and my philosophy revolves around interacting with and listening to the customer. That way, what I create is something they’re genuinely excited to taste. This personal connection is what makes each dish we introduce so successful.
Our restaurant itself has only been restored, not redesigned—many of the original furnishings and décor are still here. I even serve some dishes the same way they were served years ago.
Customers often tell me that it brings back memories of visiting the restaurant with their families, across generations.
One story that touched me deeply happened a while ago. A young man came in, and when we asked how he found us, he said he now lives in Utah but had flown in just to eat here. He used to come with his family when he lived nearby and always ordered the steak and eggs. He wanted to reconnect with those memories by returning to the same place and having the same dish. He even told us he rented a car, came straight here from the airport, and then headed right back to catch his flight home. Hearing that truly filled my heart.
